Samsung – Junior Graphic Designer
Purpose of the job:
To create and adapt visual assets across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency while tailoring global creative materials to the Nordic audience.
Key Accountabilities:
• Global-to-Local Adaptation: Localize and adapt creative toolkits and campaign assets from HQ to fit the Nordic markets—including layout changes, language adaptations, and format variations across platforms.
• Creative Production: Design on-brand content for digital (social media, banners, e-commerce) and physical (out-of-home, print, retail) marketing channels.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain visual consistency with Samsung’s global brand guidelines while enhancing local relevance and cultural fit.
• Campaign Support: Support marketing initiatives by producing assets for product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• File & Template Management: Keep creative materials organized and up-to-date for internal team use and external production.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with local teams including product marketing, retail, PR, and e-commerce to ensure asset alignment
Job Scope
This role is central to ensuring Samsung’s global creative excellence is effectively translated into the Nordic context. The Junior Graphic Designer will primarily work with global materials and adapt them for regional usage, but also create original content where needed.
Liaisons:
• Head of Innovative Marketing Lab, Corporate Marketing team, Product teams, Retail & e-commerce teams.
• External: Global HQ Brand team, Local agencies, media partners.
Qualifications required:
• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); motion design skills are a plus
• Fluency in English & Swedish, another Nordic language is a plus
Experience:
• 1–3 years of design experience in-house, agency, or freelance
• Strong portfolio with examples of adapting campaign assets across different formats
• Understanding of Nordic consumer trends and visual preferences is a plus
Skills & Attributes:
• Highly detail-oriented with strong layout and typography skills
• Confident working within brand guidelines while adding local creative nuance
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
• Collaborative and solution-focused mindset
• Curious, proactive, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, global environment
