Over the past 30 years, Academic Search has evolved into a leading partner in executive search and interim management, with a particular focus on the recruitment of senior executives and other key professionals. Our strong commitment to matching the right person with the right opportunity has been a critical success factor and forms the foundation of our strong market position today. For the last decade, the company has been led by our CEO, Brune Tavell.
Academic Search was founded in 1991 by entrepreneur Marika Treschow, who had a vision to build bridges between the business world and young academics. Through trainee and mentorship programs, she aimed to help young talents take their first steps into the professional life. This founding vision quickly shaped the company into a recruitment and consultancy firm with a clear academic focus – a legacy that lives on in our name, Academic Search.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we have built invaluable knowledge, forged lasting relationships, and established a network of ambitious and skilled individuals. We look forward to helping both companies and candidates reach their goals – together.
