About the role
The location for this position is flexible, you can reside in either Sweden or Denmark, working from our office in Malmö (great new offices in Hyllie) or our modern premises in Ballerup. You will report to the Business Manager, Pharma Nordic. You will be part of a successful, collaborative team with 6 colleagues across the Nordic region. Within this Nordic team you will have a strong commercial role and benefit from highly competent colleagues, where you work together to sustain the success of this business area. You will navigate in a context of excellent product offerings, pharmaceutical industry expertise and outstanding service making us the ideal business partner in the pharma industry.
 

You will have the privilege to be in the forefront of promoting our technical and application management to pharma customers managing several accounts where your vast chemical expertise will come into full play. This position involves frequent client meetings and travel within Sweden. You will manage your travel independently, averaging around five travel days per month.
 

Your key responsibilities

  • Profit and loss responsibility of pharma customers primary in Sweden
  • Customer responsibilities include new customers and sales development on existing key customer relationships within the pharma segment
  • Promoting relevant products to Procure Departments, R&D and Business Development
  • Responsible for Sales and promotion of speciality products; excipients, API´s for finished dosages and solvents for Biopharma and Regulated Synthesis
  • Responsible for identifying prioritizing new potential customers and sales projects with successfully closing
  • Proactive approach to maintain business and develop the business
  • Fully cooperation within in the Nordic organization and Pharma EMEA in a matrix organisation

Experience and competences
To succeed in this position, you should be motivated to drive and manage application and technical R&D projects in the pharma field. You have a commercial mindset and gain energy from client interaction. Alternatively, you may currently be in a more technically focused role but are interested in developing your career in a commercial direction.
 

You hold an academic degree in chemistry, pharmacy, or a related field, and have professional experience in the pharma industry. We welcome both recent graduates and more senior candidates. Experience or knowledge in biopharma, APIs, or excipients is not required, but would be considered an advantage.
 

What we are looking for
As a person you enjoy a fast-paced environment and with your open-minded approach you have a proactive approach. You have excellent teamwork skills, and your communication and negotiation skills are convincing. You are fluent in Swedish or Danish and English.
