Dx4Life has developed a groundbreaking genetic rapid-testing platform that enables personalized hormone treatment selection prior to IVF. With its first product entering the commercial phase in 2026, the company is in a highly exciting phase.

Dx4Life is now seeking a commercially driven CEO who wants to take overall responsibility for the company’s continued development, growth, and commercialization. The role is ideal for someone who combines leadership with proven commercial experience within the life sciences industry. You are motivated by turning vision into commercial reality, identifying new business opportunities, and building an organization capable of achieving sustainable long-term growth.

 

Key areas of responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership and execute the strategic direction, with full accountability for budget and personnel.
  • Full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility and represent the company in all matters related to the Board.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with new clients and partners to support product development and successful market launch of the first product.
  • Drive continuous business development initiatives to expand market reach and revenue streams.
  • Work closely with the Board and active shareholders to refine and implement the company’s strategic priorities.
  • At all times ensure an efficient and scalable cost structure aligned with the company’s strategic development stage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has the following experience:

  • A strong executive background with proven leadership experience in the life sciences industry.
  • A successful track record of initiating, scaling, and leading product commercialization and product launches.
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing roles.
  • General management and leadership experience, preferably from high-growth environments.
  • Experience leading companies with in-house R&D capabilities and production.
  • Demonstrated business development experience across Nordic and European markets.
  • Experience in working with distributors, licensees, and strategic partners.
  • Market access experience is important.
  • Experience from working in a start-up or small company is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of the CEO’s role and relationship with the Board and its governance role.

Language

Fluent in verbal and written English.

Education 

University Degree e.g. Master of Science or Master of Business Administration or corresponding relevant education. 

 

Additional information
The role is located in Lund, and the candidate needs to have a permanent base in the Skåne region. The candidate should be prepared for at least 50 travel days per year as part of the role.

Dx4Life

An increasing number of couples around the world are struggling with infertility, leading to a growing demand for IVF treatment (in vitro fertilization). However, IVF is neither simple nor straightforward. The key to improving outcomes is to provide each individual with the right hormone treatment prior to IVF.

The challenge has been the lack of a clinically useful biomarker capable of reliably determining which hormone treatment should be used in each individual case.

Through her research, founder and Professor Yvonne Lundberg Giwercman discovered a novel biomarker that can reliably determine which hormone treatment each patient should receive — thereby dramatically improving the chances of pregnancy. This discovery has paved the way for a simple test that can be used directly at fertility clinics. The company was established in 2024 and is now ready for full commercialization.
