We are looking for someone who thrives on ownership – someone who enjoys building a business, organization, and processes from the ground up. You value independence, take initiative, and understand that while some days are focused on strategy and planning, most are hands-on and operational.
As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our presence in Norway, with full commercial and personnel responsibility for our sales and service functions. In this role, you will:
- Build long-term relationships with customers and industry stakeholders. Drive sales of our systems, services, and smaller projects.
- Identify new opportunities and grow our footprint in the Norwegian market.
- Challenge us and improve how we work with our sales -and service systems and processes.
- Recruit, lead, and develop the local sales and service team.
- Take full responsibility for the local P&L.
The role requires extensive travelling, to our offices and to customer sites and at times internationally. You will report to our CEO, Michael Bäärnhielm.
Who we think you are
You combine commercial drive with technical interest and understanding – and you enjoy building things from the ground up. We imagine you:
- Have solid experience in technical sales (e.g. water treatment, process equipment, mechanical systems).
- Preferably, understand the Norwegian aquaculture industry or closely related sectors, but you can also have worked with sales within water treatment within industry, municipalities, the oil sector, hydraulics or similar.
- Have ideally been in a growth journey before, with some know-how of how to achieve commercial success through building a strong team, culture and customer relationships.
- Have experience leading a team or building up a business or function.
- Have worked with service and aftersales.
- Love closing deals if they contribute to long term success for your customer and us.
- Speak and write English and Norwegian fluently.
