We are seeking two experienced and highly motivated Directors of Strategy & Business Development to join the management teams for two of our divisions

– Director of Strategy & Business Development for the PMT division
– Director of Strategy & Business Development for the CBT division

This global role is instrumental in driving long-term growth, strengthening competitive positioning, and supporting strategic transformation initiatives. In this position, you will work at the center of strategic decision-making, partnering closely with senior leadership to define growth priorities, identify new opportunities, and ensure successful execution of key strategic initiatives.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategy development and execution, business growth, and M&A in a global and dynamic environment. You will help steer the division’s long-term direction while working cross-functionally with commercial, R&D/Product Management, Supply Chain & operations, and finance teams to turn strategic ambition into tangible results.

The Role

We are seeking a Director of Strategy to drive long-term growth and strategic direction for the Division. As a member of the division management team, you will play pivotal role in shaping strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring effective execution of strategic initiatives across the business.

This is a global role combining cross functional strategic leadership, business development, and M&A, with close collaboration across commercial, R&D/Product Management, Supply chain & operations, and finance functions. You will report to the Division President.

Location is Headquarters in Höganäs. Travelling is part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the division’s medium- to long-term growth strategy.
• Generate market and competitive insights to identify opportunities, risks, and industry shifts.
• Translate strategy into clear priorities, initiatives, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Drive cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives across the organization.
• Identify and assess new markets, growth opportunities, and business models.
• Lead strategic investment evaluations and business case analysis with senior business leaders.
• Own and manage the division M&A pipeline, including target screening, due diligence, and integration planning.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring alignment between strategy, operations, and investment decisions.

Qualifications & Experiences

We believe that you have experience from driving growth, different initiatives and M&A processes in an international, high pace organization. Preferably you also have previous experience from investment banking and/or management consulting.

A background from an investment banking/consulting firm or/and a larger industrial company is an advantage. You have experience from developing and presenting decision material for complex topics in an international environment.

To be successful in this role we believe you need to have strong performance management skills, you are good relationship builder at all levels and geographic parts of a global organization and  have excellent communication skills.

As a person you possess a high level of energy and personal drive, have strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. You are curious, want to deliver result and have a structured approach.

You are able to perform stand-alone analytical work and independently prepare high quality presentations in cooperation with other senior executives.

You hold a relevant university education and have excellent English and Swedish skills, both spoken and written.
