Doro – Vice President Product (Malmö)

We are looking for our new Vice President Product to shape and drive Doro’s product vision, ensuring seamless integration between hardware, software and services to deliver real value to customers. You will be part of a very inspiring integration phase as Doro becomes part of Xplora Technologies Group. Doro makes technology accessible for seniors by developing products and services specifically adapted to seniors’ needs – so they can live better lives. Xplora is a leading pioneer in offering innovative smart devices and services for families, revolutionising the way kids can be introduced to the mobile world in a safer and more secure way. 

You will take on a role where your leadership, technological, and strategic skills will accelerate the strategic match between Doro and Xplora. Success in this role means translating strategic opportunities into impactful products that strengthen our niche in the tech market, while creating sustainable growth for the business.

More about the role

• Shape the strategy: Define and own the long-term product vision and road map, anticipating market shifts and customer needs.
• Bridge business and technology: Ensure strong alignment between product strategy, commercial goals, and go-to-market execution, together with Sales and Marketing.
• Lead product creation: Guide hardware development from concept to production and launch, ensuring competitive quality, cost efficiency, and supplier excellence.
• Drive integration: Oversee how hardware and software combine to create holistic solutions that amplify customer value.
• Own the economics: Take P&L responsibility for the full product portfolio, making strategic investment and resource allocation decisions.
• Lead with impact: Build, empower, and develop a world-class product team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
• Enable execution: Remove organisational barriers, facilitate cross-functional cooperation, and make decisive calls in complex situations.

You will be based at Doro´s office in Malmö, just next to the train station, providing excellent commuting services as well as the privilege of being very close to the city center.

In this position, you report to the CEO of Xplora. You will manage our Product office, which includes a team of 6 Product Managers, 2 UX Specialists, and a Requirement Lead.

• Go to market execution (in close collaboration with Marketing and Sales): Oversee product launches and ensure multi-channel campaigns.

• A proven ability to build and grow high-performing teams through coaching and mentoring approaches.

• Solid commercial acumen with a track record of P&L ownership.
