To strengthen our R&D and Innovation organisation, we are now looking for a Product Development Manager who will lead a team of engineers and drive the development of our next generation of products.

Role description

Working at Ecophon is characterized by teamwork, engagement, and innovation. As Product Development Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled engineers and play a key role in the development of new products and systems. This is a leadership role with broad responsibility, where you will work crossfunctionally across the company and with external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the Product Development team, consisting of four Development Engineers
• Driving development activities for new products, components, and systems
• Ensuring alignment with the Ecophon Project Model and Product Development Process
• Managing your own development activities and contributing to strategic R&D initiatives
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in R&D, Production, Sales, and Marketing

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a technically skilled leader with solid experience from the construction or manufacturing industry. You have a Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and have held leadership roles within technical teams or projects. You are fluent in English and comfortable navigating in a global organisation. Experience from working with cross-functional teams and structured development processes is a strong advantage.

You are a driven and structured leader who enjoys developing people and teams. Your leadership style is collaborative and inclusive, and you have a strong ability to create clarity and focus. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset and enjoy seeing ideas turn into reality. As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and confident in making decisions. Trust, empowerment and collaboration are core values of Ecophon, and they guide both how we work and what we create.

This position is located in Hyllinge, outside Helsingborg, and reports to Innovation Engineering Manager.
