About the role

As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Nord-Lock Group you will play a central role in utilizing technology to drive business value and aligning IT initiatives with the organization’s goals. This position is critical for shaping the organization’s digital strategy and ensuring that technology investments support and enable business growth. You have a team of 6 direct reports, with a total team of 17 co-workers.

You will be placed at the HQ in Malmö and report to our Group CFO.

Key Tasks:

• Develop and execute the IT agenda to support and align with the overall business strategy.
• Lead and manage the global IT organization, including overseeing managers and teams.
• Manage the global IT budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Group Management and other senior stakeholders to evaluate and leverage the benefits and risks of IT projects.
• Establish and update IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Stay updated on IT trends and new technologies, assessing their potential to support business goals.
• Ensure that IT strategies and processes are in line with company-wide goals and objectives.
• Oversee relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure effective partnerships and service delivery.
• Take responsibility for information security and cyber risks, ensuring that Group Management is informed and that IT infrastructure is designed with robust security measures.

Your background

To be successful in this position we believe you have experience from a similar background with preferably more than 10 years of experience within IT, with at least 5 years experience of managing an IT organization. You have strong leadership, presentation and communication skills and experience from working in an international environment.

Furthermore you have:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or another technically related field.
• Management experience in IT within a manufacturing organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Cloud Architecture and cyber security management.
• Strong skills in vendor management, legal requirements, and compliance.
• Knowledge of IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and security architecture.
• Familiarity with third-party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
