About the role

As Retail People & Culture Manager in Kjell Group you are a significant contributor for both people and business success, supporting the people and organizational development in the daily operations. The role is responsible for all retail operations across the Kjell Group, which means that you will be both the strategic advisor as well as supporting the tactical and operational development in our stores. You will lead and inspire your team, consisting of 3 people, for best performance and one direction in accordance with Kjell Group agenda.

You will support the Chief Retail Operations Officer in the people and organizational dialogue, always with business and people in mind. You will report to the Chief People & Culture Officer and be based at the HQ in Malmö.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily workflow of all HR matters related to the retail organization
  • Be the senior advisor and support to the managers
  • Support the managers to optimize organizational structure of the departments as well as ensure alignment and clarity in KPI setting
  • Review continuously needs to support the managers in building tactical and operational plans for the people and organizational development
  • Be the significant contributor in development and implementation of People Strategies as well as other initiatives, processes, and programs
  • Together with the hiring managers, lead the full talent acquisition processes for diverse functions
  • Support the managers, to ensure execution of full P&C cycle in all the countries, regions and stores
  • Work together with the rest of the P&C leadership team to ensure collaboration and development of us as a team
  • Ensure deployment of policies and frameworks developed by the Kjell Group
  • Represent Kjell People & Culture team in diverse forums

About you

To be successful in this role we believe you are an experienced HR Manager preferably with a background within retail. You have a strategic mind with tactical and operational approach and a high analytical ability. You are energetic with a high sense of quality and details and make things happen. You thrive in a high paced environment, are curious and a problem solver with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Furthermore you have:

  • 5 years of experience from similar roles with wider HR/ P&C Manager responsibility
  • Experience from full HR/P&C cycle of processes
  • Retail experience
  • Proven experience being the senior advisor and HR/P&C leader
  • Proven experience as a leader
  • Experience working in a forward-thinking organization
  • Experience of work in international/Nordic environment
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
