Ikano Bank – Cybersecurity Operations Manager

As our Cybersecurity Operations Manager, you will work in the Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance function responsible for developing and driving the Vulnerability Management and Security Operations Capabilities in accordance with the defined Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance strategy and roadmap supporting the implementation of the Cybersecurity Framework within the Digital organization and across the Bank.

Help us protect the Bank from cyber threats establishing a foundation for secure and compliant products, platforms, and solutions.

You will drive Vulnerability Management initiatives, taking a proactive approach to identify and address potential weak spots within the Bank’s system landscape. This involves a thorough investigation into security controls, assessing their implementation effectiveness, and staying up to date of emerging attack surfaces to safeguard the Bank’s assets effectively.

Furthermore, you will be responsible with overseeing Security Operations, ensuring the governance of technologies and processes that defines the implementation of our cybersecurity control framework. Your role involves assuring appropriate implementation and efficiency of security controls and requirements in accordance with the risk appetite of the Bank.

Key responsibility areas;

• Lead the development and management of vulnerability management strategies.
• Maintain documentation and define goals for Vulnerability Management & Security Operations.
• Outline security requirements for implementations across platforms and products.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and improve security technologies and procedures.
• Investigate vulnerabilities and threat intelligence.
• Drive a security reporting framework with KPIs and maturity measurements.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards through regular quality assurance.
• Collaborate with various departments to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
• Manage security in hybrid environments and maintain relationships with external vendors.
• Assist in security incident management and handle operational security tasks.

You will be responsible for developing and driving the evolvement and lifecycle of the Vulnerability Management and Security Operations Capability in accordance with the defined Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance strategy and roadmap to meet the evolving threat landscape and risk appetite of the Bank. The Cybersecurity Operations Manager will have a significant role in the overall implementation of the overall Cybersecurity strategy in where there will be many opportunities to contribute and influence affecting the evolvement of the company but also grow as an individual.

To be successful in this role you need to have;

Knowledge:

• Expertise in vulnerability and threat management, understanding of attack mechanisms and defense strategies.
• Experience with various security controls and technologies, including system and network security, application and endpoint security, identity and access management, data protection, and incident response.
• Proficient in penetration testing, security assessments, and forensic investigations.
• Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premise, cloud) and secure software development practices.
• Understanding of Lean-Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of operational risk and regulatory compliance.
• Strong foundation in network and system security principles.
• Proficient in technical security controls, firewalls, endpoint security, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Familiar with security frameworks like SANS, NIST, and OWASP.
• Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
