Bel Nordic – Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a confident and experienced Supply Chain Manager for Bel Nordic where you will be responsible for the function’s performance and development as well as being a part of the Nordic Management team based in new offices in central Malmö.

About the role

As head of the function, you have overall responsibility for the entire logistics chain from factory to customer, including setting requirements and follow-up with external warehouse and distribution partners. You lead, coach and develop the function with two directly reporting employees and ensure delivery quality, service level, turnover speed and high customer satisfaction. You are also responsible for ensuring that we have appropriate work processes and system tools to meet future customer requirements and developments within the industry.

Main duties

• Develop and improve support for the logistics function and the procurement process.

• Continuously develop and follow up internal KPIs such as service level (CSL), BIAS, turnover rate and forecast accuracy (MAD).

• Quality ensure the flow of goods and run improvement projects with the customer in focus.

• Be responsible for following up costs associated with the logistics flow.

• To drive development and advancement of customer collaborations from a Supply chain perspective.

• Procurement of stock and transport.

• Lead S&OP process across the BU, working with Sales, Marketing and Finance colleagues.

• Manage and grow in responsibilities the SC team.

• Work on ad hoc projects, such as (not limited) switch from EURO pallets to CHEP pallets, new customers requirements whilst maintaining the high quality standards of Bel’s products, deploy EDI, etc….

• Active role in the Management Committee.

• Manage Contract/SLA with Logistics Service Provider for both warehousing and distribution including management of all cost and service KPI’s, problem analysis and improvement actions.

• Responsible for creation of an accurate demand plan.

• Lead and support on joint Supply Chain projects with other Business Units

• Accountable for all Supply chain stock, KBI and financial reporting to Groupe.

Your profile

In a fast-changing environment, with a large number of international suppliers and a news-driven product range, it is critical that you have a structured and analytical way of working yet simultaneously be flexible to change. You are meticulous and organised individual with a drive to deliver solutions and have the ability to problem solve and handle complexities. With many contact points, it is important to have good presentation and communication skills as well as a commercial understanding. We believe that you have a great interest in system support and great knowledge within logistical IT-systems

Experience and competence

• Academic education in logistics or finance, or equivalent experience

• At least 5 years of experience from a role within logistics and supply handling FMCG within Grocery/Retail – preferrably within the Chilled category.

• Very good knowledge of Office 365, SAP, JDA, Manugistics and IBP

• Good knowledge in English, French is a plus

• Previous experience of managing a team
