Walraven – Commercial Manager Nordics

The Role
Walraven is now looking for a Commercial Manager Nordics, based in Malmö or greater Copenhagen area, to lead the external sales organization and drive profitable growth across the Nordic region.
In this role, you will take full commercial responsibility for sales performance, customer relationships and team leadership – combining strategic direction with hands-on involvement. You will be part of the management team and represent the commercial function in strategic decisions, contributing to the overall business development of Walraven Nordic.
A key focus will also be driving the company’s digital transformation journey, ensuring effective use of digital tools such as CRM, Power BI and CoPilot to improve efficiency, insights and customer engagement.
The position is based in Hyllie in Malmö, and includes approximately two travel days per week, some of them including overnight stay.
You will manage a team of 8 direct reports (KAM and Sales reps) and will be reporting to Managing Director Nordics.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the Nordic sales team, including Key Account Manager and Sales Representatives.
- Define and execute the commercial sales strategy in alignment with the Nordic and Global strategies.
- Drive sales effectiveness through structured planning, follow-up and field coaching (co-driving minimum twice per year per sales rep).
- Ensure strong CRM discipline and data-driven sales management through digital tools (CRM, Power BI, etc.).
- Support KAM in developing customer plans and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management and Customer Service to strengthen the value proposition and ensure service excellence.
- Identify new opportunities to grow; new sales channels, new customers etc
- Represent Walraven’s strong brand and actively contribute to its growth and visibility in the Nordic market.
- Manage the sales budget, set clear KPIs and ensure continuous performance improvement.
Your Profile
You are a confident leader, having solid commercial leadership experience from an international and structured environment, ideally within the building industry, installer market, or wholesaler sector. You are a teambuilder with great interest in coaching and developing others. You combine a strategic mindset with hands-on operational drive; a stable leader who inspires others. Also, you value cross-functional teamwork to achieve company goals. You have deep understanding and interest in using digital data tools, embracing digital transformation to drive growth.
Key qualifications:
- University degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record leading and developing high-performing sales teams across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway
- Strong coaching skills and experience with modern sales management tools
- Fluent in English; Nordic language skills are a plus
