CPAC Systems – Business Development Lead

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between technology and business? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where innovative ideas turn into real solutions? We’re looking for a driven Business Development Lead to expand into new market segments, strengthen relationships, and deliver impactful solutions that fuel growth.

CPAC Systems is a proud member of the Volvo Group and brings 25 years of in-house expertise in developing reliable systems, specializing in Marine vessels, Offroad machinery and Commercial Vehicles.

As Business Development Lead, you will play a key role in creating new business, building strong customer relationships, and expanding into new markets. You’ll own the full sales cycle – from identifying opportunities to closing strategic deals – and act as the crucial link between customer needs and our solutions. This is your chance to combine commercial drive with relationship-building skills, positioning CPAC as the partner of choice for long-term success. In this role, you will report to Sales Director, Industry & Integration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive new business: Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new customers and projects on primarily Construction and Agriculture segments. Build a strong sales pipeline and convert prospects into long-term partnerships.
  • Own the deal: Lead customer negotiations, develop competitive proposals, and close agreements that deliver profitable growth.
  • Customer leadership: Build and maintain trusted relationships with decision-makers at OEMs and Tier-1s, ensuring CPAC becomes their preferred partner.
  • Market growth: Continuously scan the market for opportunities, competitor moves, and customer needs — turning insights into winning commercial actions.
  • Cross-functional execution: Work closely with engineering and operations to ensure projects meet customer expectations on cost, quality, and time-to-market.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

Experience & skills:

  • Proven sales success: 5+ years in business development, account management, or technical sales — ideally within industrial, agricultural, or construction equipment sectors.
  • Hunter mentality: A strong track record of building pipelines and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Negotiation skills: Confidence in leading complex customer discussions and securing favorable agreements.
  • Analytical & commercial acumen: Skilled in building business cases, value propositions, and ROI calculations for customers
  • Technical curiosity: Ability to understand electronic systems and communicate their value to both engineers and commercial stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented with a proactive approach to challenges
  • Combines strong sales drive with the ability to quickly understand customer needs and turn them into tangible business opportunities.
  • Thrives in dynamic, competitive, and varied work environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships both externally and internally.
  • You love the chase, you don’t wait for opportunities — you create them.
