Position: Vice President Corporate Control
Location: Malmö, Sweden
Job type: Full Time, Permanent

The impact you will have

As an experienced and visionary finance leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Arjo’s financial integrity, transparency, and excellence in reporting. You will lead Arjo’s global accounting, consolidation, reporting, and corporate control functions — driving the continuous development of a world-class finance organization.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will have a key influence on both strategic and operational levels, ensuring that Arjo continues to deliver high-quality financial and ESG reporting to stakeholders worldwide.

As the Vice President Corporate Control, you will be responsible for leading and developing Arjo’s global financial control and reporting operations. You will ensure compliance with IFRS, maintain a strong internal control framework, and support strategic decision-making through accurate and transparent reporting. This is a key position where you will work closely with the Group CFO, external auditors, and internal stakeholders across the organization.

Key duties/responsibilities

• Lead Arjo’s Group Accounting, Consolidation and Reporting, Business Controlling (including forecasting processes), and ESG reporting.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, and manage coordination with external auditors.
• Maintain a robust internal control framework and drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.
• Own and further develop Arjo’s financial reporting and business control models, including tools such as Cognos Controller, CDM, Power BI, and forecasting systems.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on strategic initiatives, M&A, and complex accounting issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop a global team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence.

The skills you will need

You are a strategic yet hands-on finance leader with strong analytical and communication skills. Pragmatic and structured, you manage complexity with ease and are passionate about developing both people and processes. With a global outlook and strong interpersonal abilities, you build trust and long-term relationships across functions and geographies.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
• 10+ years of progressive experience within Group Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting, and Business Controlling.
• Proven leadership experience in publicly listed companies with strong exposure to external reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience working with financial consolidation tools (e.g., Cognos Controller) and management reporting systems (e.g., Power BI).
• International business experience and ability to lead across geographies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in risk management, treasury, or tax is an advantage.
