Kelvion – Sales Manager, Data Center

Kelvion is looking for an experienced technical sales professional to take the commercial ownership of its Data Center business across the Nordic region.

This is a key position within Kelvion Nordics, and we are looking for someone who is currently working within the Data Center industry or in a closely related segment. You have an established network within the Data Center ecosystem and a proven track record of selling hardware, components or technical equipment used in Data Centers. Kelvion is a global developer and manufacturer of heat exchange solutions, and Data Centers represent one of the company’s most strategically important growth areas. As Sales Manager, Data Center, you will take a leading commercial role in developing the business across the Nordics.

About the role

As Sales Manager, Data Center, you will be responsible for developing and growing Kelvion’s Nordic Data Center business. You will act as the commercial lead for the business area, identifying opportunities, developing key accounts and driving major projects from initial contact through negotiation and contract.

The focus is on complex, high-value project sales rather than transactional or high-volume sales. You will work with customers, contractors, consultants and other key stakeholders across the Nordic Data Center ecosystem and position Kelvion’s cooling and heat exchange solutions in major Data Center projects.

You will have significant autonomy and influence over how the business develops, while working closely with Kelvion’s technical specialists and international organization.

We are looking for someone with strong self-leadership and senior business acumen who is comfortable taking full ownership of the business area. While the role does not include formal leadership responsibilities today, there is clear potential to grow into a leadership position as the Data Center segment expands.

Your background

This senior sales role requires relevant Data Center industry experience. We are looking for someone who can bring both technical understanding and an established commercial network into the position.

To be considered for the role, you need:

  • Proven experience in technical B2B sales of hardware, components or physical technical solutions relevant to Data Centers
  • Experience from the Data Center industry and an established network within the Data Center ecosystem
  • A background in technical sales within Data Centers, HVAC, cooling, energy, power, thermal management or another closely related hardware-based field
  • Proven experience of developing and closing large, complex projects and commercial agreements
  • Experience of working across the Nordic market and managing sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, countries and decision-makers
  • Strong commercial drive combined with sufficient technical understanding to engage credibly with customers, consultants and technical stakeholders
  • Fluency in Swedish or Danish, as well as English

You are a person who are comfortable taking ownership of a business area and creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. You combine a structured approach to complex sales with the entrepreneurial mindset required to build and grow a strategically important market segment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Nordic Data Center business
  • Identify, develop and close large-scale Data Center projects across the Nordic region
  • Build and develop relationships with end customers, contractors, consultants and other key stakeholders
  • Drive complex sales processes, tenders and contract negotiations with long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers
  • Position Kelvion’s hardware and technical solutions in new and existing Data Center projects
  • Use your existing industry network to identify opportunities and strengthen Kelvion’s position in the Nordic Data Center market
  • Provide market and customer insights to support Kelvion’s commercial strategy and product development

The position

You will report to the Director of Data Centres, UK&I, Scandinavia and Baltics and collaborate closely with Managing Director Nordic and Baltics, as well as local and international colleagues.

The position offers a flexible location and can be home-based in the Stockholm area, Skåne or Greater Copenhagen region, with access to Kelvion’s office in Ystad. Travel across the Nordics is an integral part of the role, approximately 50–60 nights per year.

The compensation package includes fixed salary, bonus and company car.
