IKEA Global is currently looking for a new talent in corporate web communication to strengthen our team. Joining the Corporate PR department, your main task will be to manage and develop engaging corporate content for IKEA.com based on the IKEA Group Corporate Communication Strategy.

By communicating in a personal, welcoming and inspiring way, we wish to make IKEA.com the natural place to go for information about IKEA as a company, contribute to building trust in IKEA and demonstrate that we are a modern, innovative and vision-driven company.

As Online PR & Communication Specialist, you will work closely with internal content providers such as HR, Sustainability and Finance as well as Commercial Web Communications and the Web Channel team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging corporate content mainly for the web (IKEA.com and potentially social media)
  • Contribute to web presence strategies and plans
  • Participate in web channel and web communication working groups
  • Contribute in proactive corporate PR activities
  • Support emergency response communication and other department activities when needed
  • Manage and contribute in other relevant global corporate communication projects

Background and personal qualities:

You understand online PR and Corporate Communications. You have excellent communication skills and experience from a PR agency specialised in strategic digital communication or equivalent. You have a university degree from Business, Marketing, Communication or equivalent.

You have experience from analysing target groups, setting communication goals and following up on your results. You also understand how to use strategic corporate communication in building trust and reaching business goals. You have an understanding of digital communication trends. You are an ambassador for the IKEA values.

We see that you are down to earth and enjoy working in a team. You are self-motivated, with strong drive and a problem-solving approach. We also see that you are flexible and have an open-minded approach to business and people. It is an advantage to have a deep understanding of strategic communication with special focus on digital communication. You have an interest in home furnishing as well as peoples everyday life at home. Last but not least, we see that you are fluent in written and spoken English.

This position is currently located in Helsingborg but will relocate within 2 years to our new headquarters in Malmö. It is a full-time permanent position, reporting to the External Corporate Communication Manager Sweden.
