Ikano Bank – Head of B2B Credit

Referring to the Head of Credit of Ikano Bank Group you will as Head of B2B Credit play an active and significant role within the organisation and across borders in bringing Ikano Bank to the next level seen in an end-2-end perspective of credit risk management. Heading up the central 1st line of defence, you will be taking on the responsibility for the B2B credit risk activities and be part of the credit decision process and governance.

Your responsibility has a strong focus on B2B credit risk, but spans from market, regulatory and operational activities to enterprise risk in a global perspective of the Ikano Bank organization in our present B2B markets. Our ambition is to strengthen our presence in additional markets going forward. Our long-term goal is to get smarter in our risk decisioning. We need to balance rapid changes in the regulatory landscape with new ways of working, in order to deliver sustainable offerings for a healthy economy to the many people and businesses. The future is based on real-time data driven approval process and a technology that enables faster changes in the credit decisioning process

Overall, you will be a strong support and drive the global B2B credit strategy e.g. policies, procedures, processes, systems & tools, as well as you will ensure assessment and monitoring of risk in such a way that B2B credit risks remain well identified and controlled. You will proactive drive the B2B credit risk agenda on an E2E perspective throughout the bank with clear KPIs, monitoring and action points follow-up. This includes cross-border knowledge sharing, stakeholder management and projects as well as supporting the countries in their credit decisioning process. The position is a global position and consists of a number of cross-country activities. All in making alignment where we can and go local when we need to.

Are you the one for Ikano?

Your educational background is either at Master/BA-level or via an education within the banking sector.

The basic requirement is a solid experience in terms of min. 5 years of experience within financial services in a B2B credit risk function. Your experience includes B2B credit risk from a legal and regulatory perspective being familiar with ICAAP/ILAAP, capital reporting, scorecards, PQR configuration and IFRS9 modelling. Furthermore, you have a strong mind-set of B2B credit risk and has experience in working with B2B credit risk strategies, analysis, risk appetite, policies, guidelines etc. Finally, you have experience in working cross-country and can lead and support that matrix relationship.

You are business-oriented, proactive, results-driven and motivated by having a key role in this Northern European organisation. Your personality is characterised by the ability to work independently and being self-motivated, but also by a relationship-building approach and excellent communication skills being able to engage and influence stakeholders. You are fluent in English (speaking/writing) as well as one of the Scandinavian languages. The working place is Ikano Bank’s headquarter, which is based 5 minutes-walk from Hyllie station.
