About the role:

This is a key role for Croda Nordica. You will be responsible for building, maintaining and expanding the relationships with key accounts in the Nordics. You are responsible for achieving budgeted revenue, margin and growth. You take ownership of developing your customer portfolio and ensure that Croda remain the preferred supplier.

You are responsible for sales of products in the Energy Technology business area and will join a journey focusing on sustainability and renewability. Energy Technologies provides differentiated specialty chemical additives, high sustainability solutions, and technical expertise to Croda´s customers in the fossil fuels, lubricants, and renewable energy value chains. Croda’s products and services help enable and increase the efficiency of energy extraction, transport, harvesting, refining, storage and conversion/use. As examples, Croda´s material creates more sustainable wind turbines, enables more efficient use of oil, optimises cooling of batteries etc. See more:

The position will be based at the office in Malmö where you will be part of Croda´s Nordic team with 14 employees.

Croda Nordica is focused on recruiting someone who can:

• Manage both our existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities in all Energy Technologies focus areas and our growth platforms.

• Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships

• Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets

• Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities

• Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve strategic goals


To succeed in this position, you have a couple of years’ experience alternatively strong interest in B2B selling. Today you might have the position as KAM, Business Development Manager, Product Manager, Project Manager, Technical Specialist etc. Regardless of title you have a strong interest in customer interaction promoting complex products. You need to master “commercial chemistry” on a high level being able to discuss technical concepts, either having an academic degree in chemistry alternatively having acquired vast chemical knowledge through previous positions.

You have the ability to work on your own as well as being a team-player. You are self-motivated, independent and able to plan your own workload. You travel app 50 days/year and a driver´s license is needed. You are fluent in one of the Nordic languages (Swedish is an advantage) and English.
