Ikano Bank – Senior Business Developer

About the role

Ikano Bank is currently looking for a colleague who shares the passion and energy to develop competitive, profitable and highly relevant products to bring to the market.

In this role you will be creating propositions with sustainable business models aligned with the strategic agenda and in accordance with Ikano Bank´s culture and values.

In this role you will report to our Head of Product & Customer Experience and, as you will be working within a bank-wide scope, the role will require quite a bit of travelling and virtual meetings. Ikano Bank would like this role to be based at one of the following offices; Stockholm – Sweden, Glostrup – Denmark, Espoo – Finland or in the head office in Malmö – Sweden.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Developer you will work in close partnership with colleagues across the different markets, IT and other key functions. You will be a key member of the global product and customer experience teams where we develop and manage

Ikano Bank´s product and propositions within areas such as Retail, Insurance, Loans & Savings and Cards & Payments. You will have a key role in setting the commercial roadmap, as well as big focus on making things happen.

• Delivery of outstanding value propositions to Ikano Bank´s partners and customers

• Defining business models and investment cases having understanding of banking products

• Competition analysis and segmentation experience

• Product and customer journey life-cycle mind-set, i.e. drive continuous optimization of products and business models

• Oversight of product profitability providing insight and direction to improve business performance

• Great at stakeholder communication and building relations across the organization, partners and customers

• Expert in packaging and formulating fact based decision materials

• Take part in Steering Groups, Project Teams, change forums and agile delivery setups as required

Skills and Capabilities Required

Ikano Bank is looking for an inspiring and authentic team player with a strategic mind-set and a comprehensive understanding of banking products from a competitive, financial and customer perspective.

You need to have a strong commercial focus combined with a genuine interest and knowledge of developments in the industry together with a good understanding of customer and technology in a business context. Ideally, you will have experience from agile ways of working.

Great communication and facilitator skills are also a must in this position, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.

Previous working experience in a European multi-market context is strongly preferred.
