Global Product Manager

We are looking for a person who is interested in working with market leading, high-quality products within healthcare. We offer a dynamic, international and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

As Global Product Manager you will have global profit and loss responsibility for bathing systems and bathroom equipment, with a yearly turnover of 600 MSEK. You will be responsible for product lifecycle management and thus work with the whole value chain, i.e. from product development teams to sales companies and customers. You report to the Product Group Manager Hygiene systems. Your key responsibility is to optimize the product portfolio in terms of pricing, features, solutions, processes and all other related issues that may affect the P&L of the business. You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Collecting market information and analyzing market needs and competition in order to optimize and drive development as well as sales
  • Proposing and maintaining market and product strategies
  • Proposing and maintaining the product and solutions road map to ensure a competitive product portfolio
  • Business cases, market launch plans and support during development projects
  • Coordinating product launches, e.g. marketing and sales material, supporting and educating sales companies and distributors etc.
  • You will work in an international organization with business globally. Key markets are Europe and North America. The position will require approx. 40-60 days of travelling per year.

    Qualifications and competence

    You have at least a few years experience from working in an international organization with an understanding of price, cost and P&L. Preferably you have experience from product management and/or sales of business-to-business or durables. It is an advantage if you have worked within personal care or healthcare. Experience from matrix organizations and informal leadership positions are meritorious. You have an university degree or equal. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills is a must as well as drivers license.

    Youre a generalist who combines a holistic perspective with an analytic mind. In this role you will be responsible for generating results and therefore you need to be action oriented to achieve goals.
