Business development and activation manager – For HEINEKEN Western Europe Export & Global Duty Free (WEE&GDF)

Heineken (WEE&GDF) is responsible for all 3rd party Export & License business in Western Europe and for the Duty Free channels (e.g. Airlines, Cruiselines, Military and Ferries) globally. WEE&GDF manages independently a large portfolio of brands lead by Heineken®, and has a strategic role for the development of brands across multiple markets. The Headquarter is based in Amsterdam. The organization is young, dynamic, professional and ambitious.

Significant for the position as business development and activation manager is that you will take part in developing marketing plans for Sweden. Adapt regional and/ or global programs and market activations to the Swedish market. Lead the implementation of these programs in Sweden. You will also work closely together with distributors and external agencies to deliver activations- and consumer programs in on-trade and off-trade.

The main objectives and deliverables for this position will be to build the HEINEKEN portfolio brands in Sweden through activations in the market and with sales programs.

Background and qualifications:

  • A background in trade marketing, marketing or sales with experience from
    on -trade, (knowledge of the brewery industry is an asset).

  • 2-3 years work experience
  • University degree
  • Fluently in Swedish and good in English (oral and written)

  • As this role is the face of our brands to our distribution partners, their customers and consumers alike, it is essential that the candidate is an excellent communicator, and enjoy working with people

The business development and activation manager position in Sweden is located at the commercial office in Stockholm and reports to the country manager of Sweden. As the role will have close collaboration with the central marketing team, travels to both Amsterdam and within Sweden will be required.
